Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I remember your mother as if it were yesterday. She was my 4th grade teacher at Clarence L. Farrington School #61 over near the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. She was a very big influence and impressed upon me that I had the potential to achieve anything I could imagine. She was instrumental in getting me into a program for gifted students and was my biggest cheer leader. I truly believe that your mother had more influence on my life than any of the many other teachers I encountered during my education. Steve Hoyt – Plainfield, IN

  2. I’m so sorry for your loss. I remember Mrs. Grounds fondly as my 4th grade teacher at school #61. I remember her reading Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing by Judy Blume. I looked forward to the end of the day so that she would read to us. She was such a wonderful lady! May her memory live on through her family, friends and all the kids lives that she touched! Kim Masters Guieb- Indianapolis, IN

  3. So thankful to have had Mrs. Grounds in 4th grade. Kind, good and joyful presence. Blessings and comfort to the family.
