  1. We did not know Carol but her son Darren, started as our UPS man but became a family friend to all our family. Such a wonderful caring man, his mom must have been a wonderful lady also. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family may you find comfort in knowing that your friends are here for you in your time of need. Prayers heading to your family from ours.

  2. I never got to meet your wife Jim, but I have always been told what a wonderful woman she was and that was good enough for me as you have always deserved the best. I am so sorry to learn of her passing and I ask God to lift you and your family up during this trying time. My heart goes our to you all! Be Blessed!!! Deb Ferguson Perkins

  3. I want to express my most sincere sympathy to the family and to her extended family, as well. Jim, Paul, Jerome, Darren, and Scott will all surely miss her presence in the family. It seems that she was surrounded by good, strong men. I am a first cousin of Renay’s, and I know (as you guys do also), that during her life she had those types men (Jerry, Joe David, and Uncle Joe) always in her life. I can recall going to Russell Co. and visiting with Uncle Joe and Aunt Cora. They kept many pictures of their children in their home for display. Renay was in that wonderful collection. Really…that’s what matters, family. Our fathers were brothers, and unmistakenly had a very strong resemblence and similar values. I appreciate that, and I’m sure that Renay did also. I have shared the news of her passing with my brother, Dan (near Renay’s age) in Cincinnati and my Mother, Alene (nearly 88 yrs. of age). Due to her health and age, travel, and proximety, I’m uncertain of our plans. But make no mistake, all of our prayers are directed toward asking God to be with the entire family. I appreciate Jeffrey and Joe David calling me and informing me of developments. I passed those updates on to my family. In closing, please accept our deepest feelings of concern and encouragement to Renay’s entire family and friends. God Bless You All, Joel Dean Bennett Greensburg, KY

  4. Renay was a very special lady; she had a kind word for everyone, her smile could light up a room. I don’t believe she ever met a stranger. God must have needed another angel and took her home. My deepest sympathy to Jim and family. Rose Ma
