Carolyn Mae Judd

Carolyn Mae Judd, 76, Mooresville, died peacefully at home on February 18, 2013. Mrs. Judd was born July 12, 1936, in Greencastle, to the late Harry and Mary Alma (Tobin) Pieper.

She was a proud homemaker and enjoyed raising five children. Mrs. Judd enjoyed reading, shopping, spending time on her back porch, and an occasional trip to the casino. She also enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Florida, spending time by the water. She will be missed by a loving family and many friends, including her feline companion, Dr. Tom.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Judd.

Survivors include her son, Raymond Judd, Jr. of Mooresville; daughters, Denise Kennedy (Rob) of Indianapolis, Roxie Small of Mooresville, Loretta Harpe (Forrest) of Mooresville, and Lori Duke (Kenneth Colson, III) of Mooresville; brothers, Jess Pieper of New Palestine, Allen Pieper of Indianapolis, Terry Pieper of Indianapolis; sister, Mary Taylor of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.

The funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, February 21, 2013, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 3 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2013.   9. My prayers are with all of you during this period of time saying goodbye to your lovely mother. For many years we shared a smile and a wave of the hand as I drove by. So sorry that I didn’t start my walks across the street to talk with her until the last couple of years. I definitely missed many years of enjoying this very delightful woman with the enormous friendly and welcoming smile. I will miss her being there on the corner to wave at me as I go by.
