Charles Albert "Chuck" Becker

Charles Albert “Chuck” Becker, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away September 12, 2020. Chuck was born March 11, 1938, in Indianapolis, to Harry E. and Erma P. (Frye) Becker. He was united in marriage to the love of his life Bethel El-Marie Little on September 9, 1958.

Chuck had worked many years as body shop manager until retiring in 2003. He was known as a hardworking man, who always put his family first. He had a joy in watching anything that had a need for speed such as NASCAR, drag boats, motorcycles, snowmobiles, etc. Chuck also enjoyed to watch football and basketball. Chuck had a great sense of humor; he always like to have fun telling a joke or sharing a great story. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Charles A. “Chuck” Becker, Jr.; brother, William Becker; grandson, Brock; and son-in-law, John Riley.

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Beth Becker of Indianapolis; son, Gary (Susan) Becker of Indianapolis; daughter, Tammy Riley of Indianapolis, and Brenda (Jerry) Armstrong of Indianapolis;
grandchildren, Chuckie, Evan, Todd, Shad, Austin, Amanda, Sydney, Kyle, and Paige; great grandchildren, Brianne and Bryce; and great – great grandchild, Grayson.

Visitation will be Tuesday, 5 to 8p.m., September 15, 2020, at Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., September 16, 2020, at the funeral home. I remember chuck Sr. Always being kind he was quick to tell a good joke and liked to hear a good joke as he and my dad Larry DeMoss Sr. Shared to many to count he was pretty easy going most of the time he was always working on something with a motor and one or more of his kids was with him watching and learning from him he was always nice to me and always had something nice to say asking how I was and Are you being good he would say I really had a great administration for Chuck Sr. He was a great friend to my dad and treated him like one of the family my dad had more thanksgiving dinners with Chuck’s at their families house then anywhere else I was thankful to know Chuck Sr. He was a great guy I will miss him my thoughts and prayers are with him today
