Charles "Chip" Gooch

Charles “Chip” Gooch, 39, Quincy, died December 20, 2010, surrounded by his loving family at home. Chip was born May 3, 1971, in Danville, Indiana.

Chip worked in construction most of his life and attended Paragon Bible Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by father, Anthony John Adams.

Survivors include his mother, Debbie Gooch of Mooresville; children, Christopher, Kiersten, Tyler, Kaleb, and Benjamin; the love of his life, Erika McKinney; brothers, Christopher Briley, and Chad Gooch; grandparents, Lowell and Lucy Gooch of Mooresville.

Services will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at 7 p.m., in the Carlisle and Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, with visitation starting at 4 p.m. Pastor Cleve Cross will officiate. The Morgan County Crematory, Mooresville will be handling the cremation services.

  3. I used to be neighbors with Chip and went to elementary school with him. Was just thinking about him and trying to find him online. So sorry to find news of his passing instead. I have fond memories of him.

  9. Not a day goes by that you’re not on my mind – but for some crazy reason the past couple weeks have been extra tough without you here. Sometimes its extra hard to accept- death is so final…for this physical world anyhow- i’m totally looking forward to reuniting in eternity , nothing else brings me comfort- i believe you’re with me always in spirit and mind but the selfish me says thats not enough 🙁 I Love and Miss you Chip!!!
