Mrs. Nelson: My wife and I are sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Nelson. I remember taking inventory for you in the store one year, and how much fun you all made it for us. I will always remember that time.
Dorothy, I was so sadden to hear about Charlie. He was such a good guy and friend to all. He will be missed. You are in my prayers.
Dorothy, My family and I are very sorry for your loss. You two were the best neighbors anyone could ever ask for. Charlie always had a story to tell. I’ll miss the long conversations on your front porch. You will continue to be in my prayers.
Charlie was a pillar of Mooresville, who made every newcomer he met feel a part of the town. It was a privilege to have known him for 50 years.

I am so happy to have known Charlie, who was able to tell me stories of some of my family members from long ago. I will always cherish the wooden tops he gave my boys. The community has lost a good one.
