Charlotte L. Bailey

Charlotte L. Bailey, 79, Mooresville, died October 16, 2011, in Garden Villa Health Care Center, Bedford. Mrs. Bailey was born March 27, 1932, in Sullivan County, to the late Herman and Eunice (Story) Lovelace.
Mrs. Bailey worked for Indiana Bell for more than thirty years as an operator and supervisor. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Mooresville and the Telephone Pioneers of America. Mrs. Bailey enjoyed painting and spending time outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Lee Bailey and sisters, Joan Pigg, Dora Lester, Virginia Catt, and Marian Mitchell
Survivors include her brother, Norman Lovelace (Bea) of Dugger; a host of loving nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood. Charlotte, you and Jack were like second parents to Kenny and me and grandparents to our children. You were the classiest nicest most sincere woman we have ever met and will be missed dearly. We love you always. Karen, Kenny, Kait, Taylor, Millissa Moore.

I graduated withJack fromBen Davis >Charlotte and Jack began coming to First Baptist when I was pastor there in 1957-1973 Jack quit coming but Charlotte remained a faithful member.She was a good person, Pastor Don Endsley
