Charlotte Park

September 9, 1927 ~ December 31, 2012
Charlotte Mause Park, 85, longtime Mooresville resident, died December 31, 2012. Mrs. Park was born September 9, 1927, in Indianapolis, to the late Peter and Alma (Hohlweg) Mause.
She graduated from Mooresville High School in 1945 and worked for a period of time for Family Finance and for the First United Methodist Church in Mooresville. Mrs. Park was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. In addition she was past president of Kappa Kappa Sigma Sorority. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and scrapbooking.
Mrs. Park was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wallace Park.
Survivors include her children, Michael Park (Alice) of Versailles, Kentucky, Steve Park (Shirley) of Indianapolis, and Linda Rainier (Terry) of Martinsville; special brother, Hugh Tipton (Nancy) of Mooresville; grandchildren, Katie Christian (Doug), Andrew Park, Joey Rainier, and Nicole Rainier, Brandy Oney (Robert), Eric Caldwell (Jennifer), Crystal Nichols (Joe); six great grandchildren.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Thursday, January 3, 2013, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there, starting at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Mooresville Cemetery.
