Cheryl K. Sortore

Cheryl K. Sortore, 71, of Mooresville, passed away March 12, 2019 at home. Cheryl was born October 7, 1947 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Clarence Vest and Evelyn (Harden) Shouse.
She was a long time member and supporter to the V.F.W. Post 1111 and American Legion Post 103. She enjoyed going to the American Legion or the V.F.W to spend time with her friends but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She is going to be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death to her husband, William E. Sortore.
Survivors include her son, Billy (Angie) Sortore of Martinsville; significant other, Lynn Herald of Mooresville, sisters, Reta Burke of Brazil, and Jenny Biddle of Terre Haute; and grandchildren, Trae, Zak, Alec, Anna, and Shane.
A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion Post 103 Sunday, March 24, 2019 starting at 2 in honor of Cheryl K. Sortore. CK was a very loving person. She worked in the offices of Stewart and Bible for many years. Took care of the place on Fri. Will miss her dearly, may she rest in peace!
