21, of Camby, passed away on May 13, 2021. Collette was born on October 20, 1999 in Morgan County, IN to Angela Cox and Christopher Wright.
Collette was a funny, vibrant young lady who had a big heart, loved to sleep and to sing. She also loved food, especially junk food, including pizza, spaghetti, sweets and anything chocolate. She was known to order Door Dash whenever she didn’t like what was for dinner at home. However, her world changed 18 months ago with the birth of her beautiful son, Cashus. Cash was her world and Collette couldn’t be prouder of him. He made her want to go back to school to earn her CNA certification to help others in order to provide for a better life for her and Cash. Collette was working to earn enough money to go to school and buy a car, as a sales associate at the Neighborhood Wal Mart Marketplace in Decatur Township.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Vernon Payton, Irene Payton, Myrtle Stevenson, Hallie Marie Weaver and Clennie Weaver.
She is survived by her son Cashus Williams; significant other Zachary Williams; mother Angela Cox; father Christopher Wright, stepmother Michelle Wright; siblings Tristan Blondell, Magnolia Wright, Bayleigh Blondell, Amber Wright, Hunter Dawson, Jordan Blondell, Allyssa Wright; grandparents Anna Cox, Patricia Hawley, Carl (Sue) Wright, Theresa Stevenson, Larry Stevenson; God parents Tammy Ford, Pete Payton and a host of extended family and friends.
Friends and family will gather on Tuesday, May 25th from 4 to 6pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with services beginning at 6pm Tuesday in the funeral home. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 26th at 10am in West Newton Cemetery.

Collette was a best friend of mine in elementary. Hurts to know she was gone so soon! Prayers for the family. Definitely for the babyߤ

Collette was one of my preschoolers at the Y’s Owl Preschool. I still saw her often and kept up on how she was doing. She was so proud of her son. My prayers are with the family.

I never met Collette but I’m sure she was a wonderful person and mother. I am Zachary’s Grandma and Cashus Great Grandma. I just want to send my condolence your way it is always hard to lose someone especially at such a young age.
