Collis Oneal Naylor

Collis Oneal Naylor, 85, died September 12, 2013, in St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis. Mr. Naylor was born February 1, 1928, in Lancaster, Kentucky, to the late George and Nancy (Clark) Naylor.
He worked as a conductor for many years and retired from Conrail Railroad in 1983, after 30 years of service. Following retirement, he lived for a number of years in Astor, Florida and relocated to Mooresville in 2008. Mr. Naylor was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed watching westerns, but was especially partial to John Wayne films.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, LaRue Naylor; brother, Jim Naylor; sister, Lori Macy.
Survivors include his son, Collis R. Naylor (Sharon) of Mooresville; grandchildren, Doug Naylor (Carrie) and Kristen Redinbo (Steve); great grandchildren, Cooper and Cameron Naylor; Emily, Jacob, Sophia, and Oliver Redinbo.
According to Mr. Naylor’s request, private services will be observed. Cremation will take place at the Morgan County Crematory, Mooresville.
