Courtney Danielle (Maddox) Stayte

26, of Mooresville, passed away on August 14, 2018. Courtney was born on May 15, 1992 in Ft. Carson, Colorado to Tony Maddox and Regina (Snyder) Price, who both survive.

Courtney was a soft spoken, sweet spirit who would help anyone in need. She enjoyed helping others and would always put someone else’s needs before her own. She loved spending time with her family, especially her loving husband, Wesley and their daughter, Nevaeh. She enjoyed listening to music of all genres, spending time outdoors. She also loved watching horror movies, like Halloween and comedies like Joe Dirt.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband; Wesley Stayte, daughter; Nevaeh Stayte, stepchildren; Orin, Jocelyn, Aliecia, Brevin Stayte, mother; Regina (Randy) Price, father; Tony (Carrie) Maddox, brother; Jacob Benton, stepsiblings; Nick, Brittany Price, grandparents; Floyd Snyder, Sherri Snyder, Lila Perdue, Earlene Flores, Charles Maddox, uncle; Terry Maddox, aunt; Tina Noyes as well as many friends and extended family.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-6pm at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10am in the funeral home.

Burial will follow the services in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.

    The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family.
    We meet monthly on the first Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, 99 W. Main St, Greenwood, IN 46142 and on the third Thursday at the Epworth United Methodist, 6450 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46220.
