Debbie Payton, 56, Mooresville, died May 21, 2011, in her residence. Debbie was born January 30, 1955, in Indianapolis, to the late Herman and Mary Alice (Phaff) Coffey.
Deborah had owned the Jack’s Pizza and Break Out Billiard in addition to being a concrete finisher. She was a hard worker all of her life. She was once the Indiana State Women’s Pool Champion. She was an animal lover, but was especially fond of horses. She was a member of New Hope Full Gospel Tabernacle Church.
Survivors include her children, Tammy Faye Stock of Pargon, John Dale Payton of Paragon, and Lisa Louise Raikes of Mooresville; siblings, Bud Coffey of Mooresville, George Coffey of Mooresville, Woody Coffey of Crawfordsville, Patty Henry of Mooresville, and Bobby Coffey of Indianapolis; 8 Grandchildren; one great grandchild.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2011, in New Hope Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, 697 Indianapolis Road, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Burial will be in West Newton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses. So sorry, Debbie helped me through so much in the early 90’s – I am so sorry that she never got to meet her nephew, Zachary Doyle of Danville, Indiana.

I remember when I was little mamaw would run around the house , hiding , and scaring my dad . It was like a competition to them . I will forever love and miss her .
