Guestbook

  1. Didn’t know Dennis well, but knew him from his support of MHS and later running into him during some late night White Castle runs on the Southside! Always friendly and kind! Rest in Peace friend!

  2. Dennis was a good neighbor, and quite a Squawk Box. He would spend hours on my porch talking about his life in Mooresville, and quite comical at times. A good sales agent for the town! As the years went on I would walk him home every evening for his safety. I took him to the ER several times when that was needed. He suffered with many medical issues for a long time . He was blessed to have a very large family, as many people do not have that comfort. But I know now that God will take good care of him. My heartfelt condolences to all the family

  3. Dennis was one of a kind we all grew up togather played cards all night and did some crazy things growing up.From playing car tag or going to MHS sporting events in which he was a avid booster. To Linda and the girls he always talked about your achievements when we talked and was proud of his grandkids .So many funny stories I will remember from Dennis . Im glad he is not suffering any more from all his health issues .and my condolences to Linda and the Girls he will definitely be missed.

  4. I grew up with Dennis, AKA Leroy, as my next door neighbor. He was so fun to be around and could always make you laugh. I remember listening to Leroy & my mom’s old 45 records from the 60’s and 70’s. I moved off Smokey Row, but stayed in contact with Deanna. I hope you find my mom in heaven and have fun like you two did growing up! You will be missed!!!
