Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Don (& Sue) were strong youth leaders in Vacation Bible School, CYC, and Sunday School. Don was a strong Christian Male influence to my boys, their friends and others. He always welcomed me and told me how much he missed me in church and I knew he meant it. Such Love in that man, that wonderful man. He will be missed. Fly High Don, with Jesus!

  2. Don has such an influential part of my memories growing up in the Mooresville Free Methodist Church. From playing softball or always getting greeted by Don as you walk into church and if you ever shook Don’s hand, you know it’s a handshake you will never forget (strong huge hands). Don was also one of my dad’s best friends and brother in Christ. We will all be here for you Sue. We love you both and it’s a little comfort knowing Don had many to greet him, but knowing my momma is rejoicing with him, it’s bitter sweet.
I will miss you so much Don, until we meet again someday.

  3. My sweetest Bubba,
Life will never be quite the same without you “physically” here. We will miss you more than you could ever know. You were the best of the best……heart of gold…..loved with your entire being. We treasure our many times together as well as our many, many laughs together and we promise to always keep your memory alive. We will always be there for Momma Sue and Travis as you were all always there for us when we needed you. Love you more than you could ever know, Kristen and Patrick

  4. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today and the next several days. We trust God’s love and comfort will be with you as He promised. May you know the peace that passes all understanding at this time. Love,

  5. The fondest memory I have is going with Don and Sue on their first date.
Sue asked us to go along on the date because she was “Nervous” about the first date with Don.
Well everything went great and soon after that they married.
That’s part of their wonderful story

  6. Hi Sue,
My condolences on your loss of Don. I know Peggy and I enjoyed both you and Don and also Travis during the chemo treatments at Dr. Harwood’s office. I am sure Peggy will be there to greet Don probably with a few frogs. 🐸 Forever Rely on God. Take care Sue and Travis

  7. My deepest and most sincere sympathy to you and all of your family. Thinking of you during this difficult time.
