Donald C. Hubbard
82, of Mooresville, passed away on July 29, 2026 at home. Don was born on April 1, 1944, in Wise, Virginia to the late Clyde and Ettie Hubbard.

Don worked in sheet metal for McKinley for over 20 years, before retiring. He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and hunting with his brothers and his wife Sandra, where there was always plenty of joking around and laughter. He will be remembered as a hardworking, kind, funny, family man, who will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Sandra Darlene (Dowdy) Hubbard, brothers Hassle Hubbard and Ronnie Hubbard, and his step-son Kevin Dowdy.

He is survived by his son Donald K. Hubbard; daughter Lorri Ann Brunette; step-daughter Mary Coup; grandson Aidan; step-grandsons Brandon and Jordan, and his good friend, Bear.

In keeping with his wishes, Don will be cremated and the family and friends will gather in celebration of his life privately.
