Since you left us, a constant movie of memories have been playing in my mind. The most memorable is when dad couldn’t be there to give me away on my wedding day, you stepped up and took his place. Donnie you were my dance partner when we would go out . You were there for me when I needed you most. We shared so many good times together and some sad times too . Never did a day go by that I did not love you. I have missed you and I will always miss you until the day comes that I will join you in heaven. I love you! Brenda

Lorraine I am so sorry.
You introduced me to my future wife. That was 32 years ago. Our anniversary is Monday. This is the best thing anybody has ever done for me. We’ll miss you.
From the first time we met at SPS we hit it off. He introduced me to his family and we had many good times we saw all the good fights together. I will miss you my brother may God shine his light on you. Love you.
My first memory that was created with Don was on my first Linthicum family river trip. At the time Brenda and I were still dating, I was at the age of 17. At that age I had never worked on a vehicle before. On the evening before we left Don was busy and asked me if I knew how to rotate tires. I was trying to impress the big brother and I said “sure I know how.” Well, I removed and rotated all of the tires. Wow, I was proud of myself. The next day we took off. While we were in the middle of the desert all of the tires started to wobble. We pulled over and found many broken studs on all of the tires. Oh, I rotated all the tires but I had installed all of the lug nuts on backwards. He did not say much or show much emotion. He had me help him correctly install the lug nuts and then on our way we went. At the time he had a boat we called Bubbles. I asked him if I could ski first. He said OK and took me out. Well within five minutes the prop broke. I remember him saying “what the heck Brenda, is this guy bad luck?” Although the boating part of the trip was over we still had a great time. Don, thank you for the forty years of great memories. Give my father a hug and when my time comes I will see you at the gates. I will miss you very much. Murphy
