Donald Frank Paskett
82, of Spencer, passed away on December 11, 2022 at his home. Don was born on August 23, 1940, in Whites Pines, Nevada to the late Wesley S Paskett and Rozella (Sims) Paskett.
Don served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam, where he was awarded the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and Silver Star for his heroism. He returned home to work as a letter carrier the U.S. Postal Service for many years in Indianapolis. Upon retirement, Don enjoyed staying busy working in the bakery department at Walmart in Greencastle.
He is survived by his son Donald (Michelle) Paskett; granddaughter Breanna Paskett; brother Alan (Edith) Paskett and a niece Meredith Paskett.
As per Don’s wishes, he will be cremated with no formal services being observed.

My heart is so heavy after hearing the passing of Don.. I have so many fond memories with him. Don was a true American hero ߇ڰ߇ذ߇ڰ߇¸ We will forever miss him.. until we meet again.
Omg I’m so sad and honestly am shocked about this. I knew Don from Walmart. He was one of my favorite people to talk to. He had stories for days and a smile that would light up a room. I will miss you ole friend! I am so sad right now… ߘRIH Don!!!
Don was a good man and was always good to my family. RIH brother.
I’m going to really miss the chats that we had, and showing my kids the photos of the deers in the snow. I will always remember the first time I met you and Donnie, when I was little. We will miss you Uncle Don.

Worked with Don in the bakery, such a good guy. I was saddened to hear of his passing. I will definitely miss our chats.
