Donald Lee Harless

 59, of Mooresville, unexpectedly passed away on December 22, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Don was born on January 7, 1965 in Martinsville, Indiana to the late Billy Joe Harless and Rosie Marie (Pannell) Harless, who survives.

The youngest of his siblings and a hard-working man, Don followed in his father’s footsteps as an advocate horse trainer. He embodied a fierce love of his family and all animals. His passion and advocacy for animals and their care displayed his kind, gentle spirit. He will be remembered for his love of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, his love for his family, his passion and love for animals, who lived his life to its fullest. 

He is survived by his mother, Rosie Marie Harless; siblings Billy Darile Harless, Deborah Harless, Dianna Wamsley, Donna Shrake, Darlene Thomas, Danny Joe Harless, and a huge extended family, who will miss him dearly.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Don’s life privately, at a later date.

  1. Donald was my baby brother,I never gave birth but he felt like mine.He had a great love for family and friends when leaving always told you he loved you. Loved animals like his daddy, his animals were his babies.He will be missed and loved forever!I know I will see him again one day on the other side. RIP baby brother I Love You! ♥️✝️

  2. My baby brother suffered many health problems in his life. He was saved, read his bible. Today I know he is in no more pain and meet his daddy! He always told people when they left he loved them, a good hearted person! I will miss him every day rest of my life, a person I’m proud to call my brother! Memories last a life time all I have left and the love lives on in my heart! RIP baby brother! 💔
