Donald L. Featherston, Jr.
56, of Mooresville, passed away on July 18, 2018. Don was born on August 1, 1961 in Indianapolis, to Donald L. Featherston, Sr. and Mary L. (Stinnett) Featherston.
Well known and liked, Don was a fixture of the Mooresville community. A hard worker, Don worked as a meat cutter for Kroger and Value Market. He was also a long time employee at Biff's in downtown Mooresville.
He loved his family and although never having any kids of his own, he always enjoyed spoiling his nieces and nephews as if they were his own kids, by spending time with them and taking them to the movies.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Allen Featherston.
He is survived by his parents, Donald Featherston, Sr., Mary L. (Stinnett) Featherson; sisters, Christine Featherston, Becky Gilkeson; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A time of celebration of Don's life will be held Tuesday from 2-8pm and from Wednesday 3-6pm at the family's home, 54 E. High St. Mooresville.
Cremation Arrangements are entrusted to Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
