Doris “Juanita” Parsons

81, of French Lick, passed away on January 23, 2023 at Community South Hospital. Juanita was born on January 22, 1942 in Liberty, Kentucky to the late Floyd H. Randolph and Mayme Lee (Wilcher) Randolph.

Family was everything to Juanita. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren every chance she could. She also was a talented singer and guitar player. She will be remembered for her kindness, very giving of her time and resources, her outgoing personality, who was firm in her beliefs and set in her ways.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Mick Parsons; son Rickey Parsons; brothers Edward Randolph, Gerald Randolph, Bobby Randolph, Jimmy Randolph, Billy Randolph, Ansel “Horner” Randolph, Phillip Randolph, Dean Randolph, Floyd Randolph; sisters Fay Ellis and Helen Titze.

She is survived by her son, Mike Parsons; daughter Vicki (Willy) Henson; brother Gary Randolph; grandchildren Jacob Parsons, Jackee Parsons, Sara Randolph, Nikea Randolph, Tayia Morgan and 11 great grandchildren, who will miss her dearly.

Family and friends will gather for Juanita’s Life Celebration® visitation on Saturday, Jan. 28th from 12-2pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory Mooresville, with funeral services beginning at 2pm Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in White Lick Cemetery.

This was one wonderful woman, she had the most beautiful heart, she was tuff as nails too, but always a kind word too most.she loved those grandbabys better then anything, and Vicky’s girls and Mikes baby girl. were the apple of herr eye, then the great grandbabys, always lit up her world,you’ll forever be in out hearts, your home now with your loves, RIP always.
