Dorothy Lucille McGuire

Dorothy Lucille McGuire, 80, of Mooresville, died November 26, 2012, in St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born March 19, 1932, in Indianapolis, to the late Samuel E. and Lucille (Thompson) Gerking.

Dorothy attended Ben Davis High School. She enjoyed playing bingo and slot machines. Mrs. McGuire raised a large family and loved her children and grandchildren with all of her heart. She will be dearly missed by all of her loving family and friends.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack W. McGuire; and 4 siblings.

Survivors include her children, William Barker of Mooresville; Mark W. McGuire of Martinsville; Thomas McGuire (Sharron) of New Palestine; Jeff McGuire of St. Augustine, FL; Jack W. McGuire, Jr. of Mooresville; Pamela Barker of Mooresville; Lora Gorham (Troy) of Stilesville; Lisa Cook (David) of Indianapolis; brother, Larry Gerking (Nonda) of Danville; 15 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, December 1, 2012, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 1 p.m. Rev.
