Dorothy M. Grubb

Dorothy M. Grubb, 90, Mooresville, passed away March 27, 2021. Mrs. Grubb was born July 22, 1930, in Indianapolis, to the late Claude and Sarah Kathryn (Baker) King. She married the late Byron E. Grubb on February 14, 1960, and he preceded her in death in 2005.

Dorothy graduated from Arsenal Technical High School and worked as a secretary for 13 years at Eli Lilly & Company. She was a longtime and devoted member of the Mooresville Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Dorothy was strongly devoted to her children and grandchildren. She also immensely enjoyed traveling. She will be fondly remembered by her loving family and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard L. and Jack B. King.

Survivors include sons, Eric L. (Memory) Grubb and Wheaton T. (Jane) Mills; daughter, Valerie M. Grubb; sister, F. Virginia Mauck; grandchildren, Danielle and Nicole Grubb; Jason and Ryan Mills.

Visitation will be Friday, April 2, 2021, 5 to 7 p.m., at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 3, 2021, at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis.
