Dr. Brenda (Hudson) Faulkner, 64, of Camby, passed away on April 2, 2026, at IU Health University Hospital.
She was born on September 27, 1961, in Danville, Illinois, to the late Hal Leroy and Janet (Ingalsbe) Hudson. Brenda graduated from Simon Kenton High School in Kentucky, attended Thomas More College, and graduated from Cincinnati Bible College. She later graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1985 and began practicing that same year.
In 1987, Brenda opened her own chiropractic practice in Greenwood, Indiana. She later relocated to Bloomington in 2001, where she established Faulkner Chiropractic and continued serving her community with dedication and compassion.
Brenda was deeply committed to her faith and to mentoring young people. She served 20 years as the regional coordinator for Beginner Bible Bowl and also as a consultant and team leader for the Teen Bible Bowl program. Since 2012, she had been a devoted member of Mt. Gilead Church.
She had a love for travel, especially trips to the beach, with Anna Maria Island holding a special place in her heart. Remarkably, she had visited 48 states by the age of four. Brenda never met a stranger—she was warm, outgoing, and could strike up a conversation with anyone. Above all, her family was her greatest joy, and she was a devoted and proud wife, mother, and grandmother.
Brenda married the love of her life, Dennis Faulkner, on June 29, 1985, and together they enjoyed 40 years of marriage.
She will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering faith, her vibrant personality, and the countless lives she touched through her work, ministry, and friendships.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis Faulkner; children, Blake William Faulkner, Rachel Elizabeth Whyte (Evan), Candace Ray Hensley (Jarod), and Mark Hudson Faulkner; grandsons, Luke Faulkner, Calvin Whyte, and Baby Whyte on the way; sister, Marla O’Dell (Greg); and brother, Chad Hudson.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Renae Hudson.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Mt. Gilead Church in Mooresville. Funeral services will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Outgoing Senior Minister Jeff Faull officiating. A graveside service will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026 in Mooresville Cemetery.

She spoke often and lovingly of her family. Hello Fresh was a favorite of Dennis and her at home.
