Duane Lee Botts

Duane Lee Botts, 80, of Camby, Indiana, went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on July 11th,2022. Duane was born Feb 15, 1942, to the late Harvey Lee and Helen (Anderson) Botts.

Duane was an active member of Harvest House International Church. Duane was a 1960 graduate of Plainfield High School and served a 4-year tour in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a retiree of Allison Transmission, and after retirement, he became a minister of his Lord Jesus Christ for approximately 20 years.

In addition to his parents, Duane was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Morgan.
Duane is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gladys (Couch) Botts; his sons, Sean Botts and wife Jessica Botts of Camby, Indiana, Brett Botts of Greenwood, Indiana, Adam Botts and wife Jessica Botts of Camby, Indiana; his grandchildren, Paige Botts, Emma Brown, and Michael Botts, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Duane’s Life Celebration® visitation will be on Monday, 4 to 8 p.m., at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Greenwood.   2. Sincere condolences from the Wilson family. Duane was so thoughtful and caring to come to the hospital the day Steve had bypass surgery. He stayed for hours and prayed for him continually. I felt comforted with him by my side during our long day. I will never forget this wonderful man. May he rest now in the arms of our Heavenly Father.
