Earl "John" Moreland

Earl “John” Moreland, 77, Indianapolis, died February 24, 2012, in Methodist Hospital. Mr. Moreland was born January 14, 1935, in Indianapolis to the late Amos and Fay (Inlow) Moreland.
Mr. Moreland was a graduate of Ben Davis High School. He worked for 13 years for the Richard L. Roudebush Veteran’s Medical Center, retiring in 1997. Prior to, he was employed with the City of Indianapolis for 20 years. He was a faithful member of Springhill Christian Center in Mooresville and also enjoyed bowling on various leagues and shooting clays.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda (Louden) Moreland, to whom he was united in marriage April 16, 1960; son, John Moreland, MSgt. USAF, Retired and his wife Kristy of Indianapolis; daughter, Carla Brandenburg and her husband Robert of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Bill Shea(Jennifer) and Holly Lewis(Shaun), Mindy Otto and Tyler Galbavey; great grandchildren, Madison, Taelyn, Gavin, Addison, and Andrew.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Tuesday, February 28, 2012, in Springhill Christian Center, 12150 N. Rooker Rd., Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, February 27, 2012.
