Share a memory, express your sympathy, or paste a video link… It was a pleasure to have Ed as a neighbor. He became a friend, as he always had a smile when he would stop by with banana peels for my rose bushes…or to share a couple of slices of pizza on a Saturday night. Once a week I’d cook for Ed…I’d invite him early JUST SO I could listen to him tell me his stories from his past. He’d sit at my kitchen table telling me how he and his cousins played at one of the MANY parks surrounding his childhood home in Canada or maybe a story about a TANK expedition. Ed’s eyes would light up when he’d talk about his marriage with his wonderful loving and talented wife, who could sew ANYTHING and he STILL wore one of the many tam hats and brightly-colored woolen jackets she designed just for him. Ed would go on car rides with me and my dog Zoey…we’d stop and get ice cream or something simple and no matter what we did… Ed was A JOY to be with I thank God that I am blessed to have had Ed as my friend.
