  1. Ernest was a great uncle whom I loved very much even tho I never got to see him or his family as much as I would have loved to since I grew up and got married. When ever he was around you had to try and stay one step a head of him, for he always liked to tease you just to hear you yell , I guess. He was so much fun to be around for he always had you laughing. I know its going to be hard on my cousins but I want them to know that any time they should need me or just want to talk, I will always be hear for them. They are my family and I love each and every one of them. I pray that we will always beable to stay in touch some how and not drift a part. My prayers are with you all, and I feel your pain, for I have been where you are right now. I love you, take care…Your Cousin, Karen (Clark) Thomas

  2. I remember Ernest always being full of pranks and never new what was a joke or real. I remember we always joked with him about him not wanting to get his hands dirty. I haven’t seen him or any of the family in such a long time, and I really don’t quite remember any of the kids except Ernie and Timmy. Sorry, I’m not able to make it, but all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love your cousin Melissa (Martin) Brown. With all my love to you Ernest and Louise may you both rest in Peace.

  3. 4. I’m sitting here at work and just received a call about Mr. Powell. Although I never see any of the girls anymore, the family is in my heart from my earlier days as a young mother just moving to Brooklyn. The Powell family were my neighbors. Erny also seemed to me to be a quiet man who worked hard, loved his wife and children. I became closer in years forward to Kathy and Billy, both whom were taken from this earth way too soon and are now joined by their loving parents in our heavenly home. To this day, I frequently think and very much miss my dear friend Kathy. I know all too well the pain of loosing a parent and my heart aches for you (Glenna, Diane, Sandra, and Erny Jr.). I wish I could tell you the pain will stop someday, but it doesn’t The void is forever present. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers and hope to run into any of you someday.

  5. Ernest was a great man. He was married to my aunt Louise for many years. I remember so many good and funny things Ernest would do or say. I remember my mom and dad and brother Rodney spending alot of time and Ernest and Louise house. We had many great times with them both and many vacations with them. We had many dinners and good times with them both. I so enjoyed spending time growing up with Sandra. Kathy, Diane,Glenna, Ernie, Billy and Timmy. We all had many great laughs together. I wish we could turn back time and have those times back again all of us together. We have very special angels looking over the family now Ernest, Louise, Kathy, and Billy. You are all missed so much you all are always in our heart now and forever. We love and miss you all. You are now precious angels watching over us all and what very special angels you all are. I love and miss you all
