Eugene Lee Rackley

Eugene Lee Rackley, 88, Seymour, died September 21, 2013, in the Lutheran Community Home, Seymour. Mr. Rackley was born February 9, 1925, in Indianapolis, to the late Emmit and Patty (Naylor) Rackley.

He was a dedicated employee at Conrail for 42 years and retired as a conductor.

Mr. Rackley was preceded in death by his wife, Mae McElwain Rackley; siblings, Floyd J. Rackley, Edna E. Nunmaker, Lois Robinson, and Margaret Weston.

Sruvivors include his children, Thomas Mincy, Jerome Mincy, and Sharon Ann Cooper; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
