Evelyn M. Dillon, 80, Monrovia, died June 27, 2011, in her residence. She was born June 4, 1931, in Indianapolis, to the late Albert and Ruby Montgomery.
Evelyn graduated from Seymour High School. She worked for Allison Transmission Inc. for a number of years. Evelyn married Jack Lane Dillon on December 1, 1956.
Along with her husband, survivors include her son, Monte Dillon (Julia) of Mooresville; sister, Maxine McClellan of Seymour; grandchild, Jack Terence Dillon.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., with calling an hour prior, Friday, July 1st, at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, addition calling will be on Thursday, June 30th from 4 to 8 p.m., in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. I only knew Evelyn through Burger King which we both were customers. I always called her the orchid lady. She seemed such a nice, sweet lady although I did not know her well. Brenda Wyatt
