Gary LeRoy Cooksey
March 22, 1963 ~ March 28, 2018
Gary LeRoy Cooksey, 55, Camby, passed away unexpectedly March 28, 2018. Gary was born March 22, 1963, in Greencastle to the late R. LeRoy Cooksey and Glennis (Jones) Cooksey who survives.
Gary graduated from Mooresville High School and went on to attend Lincoln Technical Institute. He had been employed as a mechanic Avis and as pump technician at Hydroserve. Most recently, Gary worked in maintenance at NicePak in Plainfield. He always looked forward to a ride on his motorcycle, but always looked forward to seeing his favorite canine friend, Torkie, when he came home. Gary will be fondly remembered by his loving family.
Survivors include his mother, Glennis (Jones) Cooksey of Mooresville; sister, Dawn (Tom) Warthen of Mooresville; nieces, Heather Warthen and Danielle Warthen.
The funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018 in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. prior to the service. Pastor Ken Hayden will officiate, and burial will be in White Lick Cemetery. I can remember when Gary and I went to Thompson Pump School training while we were both working at Hydaserve!! We had a blast And actually learned something in the process. Special memories my Friend!! God speed! Tom Gehringer
