October 30, 1929 - April 23, 2009 George Emerson Carlisle, 79, Mooresville, died April 23, 2009, in Avow Hospice in Naples, Florida, surrounded by his loving family. George, the third generation-owner of Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janet Wingfield (Murhphy) Carlisle and their children, Susan W. Tomlinson, Anne C. Gatts, Jennifer C. Goss, and Samuel E. Carlisle.
I am so saddened by the loss of George, you will be okay, just remember the good times. You were there for my family in our loss, and the comforting was awesome. I hope you receive the same warmth and love during this hard time. Love and prayers are there
