Gloria Dee Gilman

Gloria Dee Gilman, 71, Mooresville, passed away after a brief illness on September 5, 2018. Gloria was born July 13, 1947, in Goodland, Indiana, to the late Russell and Iris Alkire.

She worked for Gray Brothers Cafeteria as a pie baker for 30 years and later worked for TOA. Gloria enjoyed doing crafts, especially with her grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Brandon (Naseema) Hendon of Brooklyn and Ryan (Heather) Hendon of Mooresville; brother, Melvin Alkire of Lafayette; sister, Marsha Hufty of Lafayette; eight grandchildren, Emily, Brandon, Elijah, Brayden, Memphis, Roman, Brendon, and Chloe.

A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, 2 – 5 p.m., in Spring Hill Christian Center, 12150 N. Rooker Road, Mooresville.
