One of my very favorite memories was sitting outside their home in the evenings. Aunt Hazel loved her butterfly bushes. Uncle John lovingly took care of his 30+ hummingbird feeders. As we would sit and relax the butterflies would flutter around us and the countless hummingbirds would fill the air as they waited their turn at a feeder. I still can hear Uncle John’s laughter at my amazement. They deeply loved each other and life. I am so blessed to have had them be a part of my life. Lovely Jane is the best of them both. My heart is always with them.
This beautiful tribute to my mom was written by Angie Koles. Thank you Angie, this, and you, mean so much to me.
