Howard Parnell

Howard Parnell, age 78, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013. Born July 22, 1935, in Metcalf County, KY, he was the son of the late Taylor and Bessie (Rogers) Parnell. His brother Bill Parnell, and sisters Lorrane Robertson, and Bea Curry also preceded him in death.
Howard was a retired supervisor at Frazier Engineering and also worked as an electrical assistant for Curry Electric.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (Thomas) Parnell; his children: Dorothy Lisby, Mary Allen, Ruth Jones and Bobby Roach; his sisters: Martha Stotts, Rosetta Montgomery, Mamie Campbell, Betty Hancock and Opal Fraley; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday, November 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hall, IN. My grandpa was a good man he was loving and caring he would do anything to help any one he will be missed a lot I love you so much I will miss you very much you will always be in my heart I am proud to have you as my grandpa one day I will see you in heaven I always rember you always asked do you have auts in your pants. Uncle Howard, As a child I remember thinking how tall and handsome you were. You had the most beautiful smile, as I grew into an adult I saw a kind and caring man. A hard working man who loved his family, truly enjoyed living. You could do the most amazing things with your hands, rebuild and paint cars. You always had a nice ride!
