Hubert Hendricks

Hubert Hendricks, 80, Martinsville, passed away June 7, 2026.  Mr. Hendricks was born, one of 23 children, on August 4, 1945, in Harlan, Kentucky, to the late Jasper Ansel and Laura (Sprose) Hendricks.

A member of Local Union 715, Hubert worked for 38 years for Hanson Stone as a front-end loader driver. He was a member of Free Spirit Baptist Church and enjoyed reading his Bible daily.  An avid outdoorsman, Hubert enjoyed fishing for bass and catfish.  He also hunted rabbits and squirrels.  He will be remembered for his strong work ethic and strong love for his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Yvonne Hendricks, and his second wife, Cathy Hendricks.

Survivors include his son, Hubert (the late Joyce) Hendricks; daughter, Angela (Mike) Moore; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
