February 26, 1914 - November 1, 2009 Inez Simpson Sims, 95, Greencastle, formerly of Mooresville, died November 1, 2009 at Autumn Glen, Greencastle. She was the daughter of the late Harry Simpson and Josephine Collins Simpson. Mrs. Sims was born in Morgan County, near Mooresville on February 26, 1914. She married Edgar I. Sims in September of 1932; he preceded her in death on September 29, 1960.
Inez was my ‘second mother’, a dear person. My sympathies and special memories are sent to the family

June – I am so sorry for your loss. I can only hope to be so blessed to have my mom until she is 95 years old. What memories you have to have from your precious mom. You are very much in our prayers.
Aunt Jo – I am so sorry for your loss! You were very luck to have such a close relationship with your mom and to have her so long. I think about my mom everyday and I am sure you have many good memories with your mom. She was a classy lady.

June, I remember your Mother well. I wonder if you know that you always ‘sold’ me your Mooresville school books each year during our MHS years. And of course I remember her so well from our Kendrick Hospital days together. Bless you and your family.
