Jacquelyn E. Hunt
79, of Mooresville, passed away on June 11, 2026, at home, surrounded by her family. Jacquelyn was born on July 19, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Warren E. and Ruby Elliott.
Self-driven and an intelligent businesswoman, Jaquelyn owned and operated Eastern Banner Supply for over 27 years. However, it was her family that brought her the most joy. Naturally loving and caring she opened her home to everyone and enjoyed cooking, especially her homemade chicken dumplings, salmon patties and beef stew, just to name a few. Second to her love of her family was her love of animals and music. She enjoyed rescuing animals of all kinds, raising horses as well as listening to Andrea Bocelli and singing her favorite Patsy Cline tunes around the house.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Richard, Brenda and Linda.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Stephen E. Hunt, Sr.; children Christie Conner, Robin Bigham (Melvin), Carol Catellier (Louis), Ronald Yerden (Sharla), Jami O’Neill (Greg), Brandon Kriese (Kimberly), Kurtis Jaynes, Angela Jaynes (Chad), Stephen E. Hunt, Jr. (Kanyon), Tammy Albright; sister JoAnn West; 35 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren, who will all miss her dearly.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Jacquelyn’s life on Thursday, June 18th from 4:00pm -6:00pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, with services beginning at 6:00pm Thursday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to me made to the Morgan County Humane Society, 690 W Mitchell Ave, Martinsville, IN 46151, https://www.mchumanesoc.org/.
