James M. Copeland

James M. Copeland, 57, Mooresville, died February 9, 2013. Jim was born August 17, 1955, in Indianapolis, to Dwayne and Mary Jane (Benton) Copeland, who survive.
He graduated from Mooresville High School in 1973. A concrete finisher, Jim was the co-owner of C & O Concrete for many years. He enjoyed horse racing, NASCAR, and watching old western movies. Jim will be missed by his loving family and many friends.
In addition to his parents, Dwayne and Mary Jane Copeland, survivors include his son, Craig A. Copeland (Stephanie) of Mooresville; siblings, Nina Mynatt (Steve) of Mooresville, Dale Copeland (Jackie) of Mooresville, and Rex Copeland of Mooresville; grandchildren, Cade and Gracie Copeland; a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will gather to celebrate Jim’s life on Friday, February 15, 2013, 4 to 7 p.m., in The Friendship House, (located behind the Mooresville Friends Church) 50 N. Monroe St., Mooresville. In lieu of flowers, please donate canned foods, clothing items, or monetary donations to the Churches in Mission, 27 S. Indiana St., Mooresville.
