We are thinking of you.
A good friend of mine in high school. Griff always made me laugh and we played a lot of basketball together. I always enjoyed the few times that we saw each other after we were out of high school. I wil miss seeing him.
Condolences to Jims family. God has welcomed a good man. RIP
Jim was always a joy to see in the halls of Franciscan Health. He was kind and assisted anyone in need. We will miss him greatly. Kim Stecher
Jim was the best! I will miss our phone conversations, lunches, and shared sporting events. A lifelong friend since high school. He will be missed so much.
We are thinking of you during this difficult time.
2 Corinthians 1:3-5 The Passion Translation 3 All praises belong to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he is the Father of tender mercy and the God of endless comfort.[a] 4 He always comes alongside us to comfort us in every suffering so that we can come alongside those who are in any painful trial. We can bring them this same comfort that God has poured out upon us. 5 And just as we experience the abundance of Christ’s own sufferings,[b] even more of God’s comfort will cascade upon us through our union with Christ. Lauri I offer you the scripture that God has comforted me with through the years. I am glad we got to know you two through the card club. We enjoyed being with you.
As Jim’s cousin I especially remember his love of sports and his good nature. We had many happy holidays with his mom, dad and siblings. As we grew older our busy lives and families kept us apart. I had recently reconnected with Jim and was able to enjoy a good lunch and conversation before covid. He hadn’t changed, of course, and you always felt good around him. I remember an instance as a teenage when I was over at their house helping Aunt Bert with baby Susan and Jim and his neighbor threw a dead frog in the house to scare me. Ugh! The parents didn’t think this too funny. Remembering back now all you can say is “boys will be boys” We will miss your smile, but that very smile will help your love ones through this tough time. Love you, Kathy (Mayer) Zimmer
May your family be comforted by the outpouring of love both surrounding you and from afar. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with you today.
So sorry for the Griffin Family. You will be in our thoughts and prayers in the coming days. It helps to know that others feel your pain; especially at this time — God Bless All Family, Friends, Co-workers, church family and neighbors… Terri & Dan Armstrong
