James Thomas Stanifer

James Thomas “Jimmy” Stanifer, 42, Indianapolis, formerly of Mooresville, died January 26, 2012. Jimmy was born December 18, 1969, in Indianapolis, to the late Randall Stanifer and R. Mary Lawler, who survives.
Jimmy attended Mooresville High School and enjoyed hunting, spending time with family, video games, and being a loving father, son, and brother. Jimmy was an accomplished master trim carpenter.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Dylan James Stanifer.
Survivors include his mother, R. Mary Lawler of Corydon; son, Jonathan “J.T.” Stanifer; sisters, Jennifer Palmer of Monrovia and Lisa Randolph of Indianapolis.
The funeral service will begin at 3 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 1 p.m. Cremation will follow the service at the Morgan County Crematory, Mooresville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
