Jerri Lynn Raikes
53, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on March 14, 2022 at her home. Jerri was born on May 7, 1968 in Martinsville, Indiana to the late Bob Raikes and Nita (Atwell) Raikes.
Jerri enjoyed spending time with her family as well as her beloved dogs, Brecee and Lillie. Additionally, she enjoyed gardening, watching Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang, along with any crime show or serial killer show she could find on television. Naturally creative, she enjoyed going to garage sales to find things that she could repurpose, and paint to make into one of kind gifts for family and friends. With her love of painting, she found her dream job working in the paint department at Menards, where she has access to all the colors in the spectrum to help her create her beautiful works of art. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
She is survived by her children Justin Allen, Jessi Allen, Ana (Cory) Hoskins, Shelby Hopkins; siblings Sandy Reisner, Lianne Watkins, Robert (Kathy) Raikes; grandchildren Zaynah, Aizlyn, Zoey, Hunter, Landen, Charlotte, Kyra and Logan.
