62, of Mooresville passed away on June 20, 2023 at home. Jewel was born on January 16, 1961 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Jewel was a tenacious, yet loving mother, grandmother to her family. She married O. Lee Sullivan on August 24, 1998 and were married for 20 years, until his passing in 2017. She will be dearly missed by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Darlene and Bonnie.
Jewel is survived by her son Steven Coy, daughter Rebecca Coy, sisters Donna McCormick, Debbie Chapman, brother Melvin Lucas and 8 grandchildren.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Jewel’s life privately at a later date.

Jewel was a free spirit, when she loved you she loved you with everything in her, and she protected you fiercely. She was a treasure like no other, praying she is with her beloved husband and Mom once again with no suffering and no pain. Jewel will be sadly missed. Love you Jewel, your sister Donna

Jewel although I haven’t seen you in so many years. And through our brief contact through FB. I found you losing your husband was definitely hard for you. And I now unfortunately know what that feels like. I pray you are at peace now. Please give Aunt Barb, Mom, Dad, and the others who have gone before us a hug from me.
