Jimmy Wayne Chenowith

Jimmy Wayne Chenowith, 80, Indianapolis, formerly of Mooresville, died February 8, 2013. Mr. Chenowith was born December 19, 1932, in Russellville, Arkansas, to the late Mac and Doris (Bond) Chenowith.

He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War. Jimmy was the lead guitar player for Jimmy Wayne and the Country Partners from 1940-1992. He also enjoyed golfing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Rosetta Parsley Chenowith and his nine siblings.

Survivors include his children, Jim Carl Chenowith of Arizona, Steven Wade Chenowith of Indianapolis, Terry Wayne Chenowith of Georgia, Cindy Reeves of Missouri, Vickie Enzinger of Brooklyn, Sandra Perry of Florida, and Linda Gail Caldwell of Arkansas; his companion, Rita Lawson; seventeen grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren.

The funeral service will begin at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 12, 2013, in the Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 12:30 p.m. Pastor Mark Wright will officiate, and burial will be in Mt.
