John Chester Sachs
April 14, 1946 ~ March 6, 2022
John C. Sachs, age 75, passed away on March 6, 2022. Born on April 14, 1948. He grew up in Mooresville.
An avid outdoorsman, John spent most of his life as a livestock farmer and farm manager with his partner Donna Huguelet until her passing. He loved camping, fishing and anything that would take him into the wilderness. He had a special place in his heart for Leona Lake on his grandparent's farm.
John is survived by his children Gina (Russell) Sikorski, Jodi Sachs and John D. Sachs, his grandchildren Collin Sachs, Kyler Sikorski and Colton Sikorski and his great grandson Abel Sikorski.

I remember John well as a fellow 4-Her and a really good guy. Sorry to hear of his passing.
Saddened to read of another passing in the sach’s family of Madison Township,Morgan Co.Indiana. Always a good friend treating me with respect
As a younger cousin of 10 years, I remember “Johnny” quite well. He and another cousin often left me “stuck” in the hay loft during games of hide and seek! Grandma would yell at the boys to go get me & bring me inside…after what seemed like hours of sitting on that hay. He and I reconnected after I returned to Indiana in 2008; and a couple years following, he met my husband & me and our other cousins for dinner the night prior to attending the Indiana State Fair. Dinner was a great time as we remembered many of our antics together, as well as the pranks Johnny carried out as a teenager. He will be missed!
