I am sorry to hear about the passing of Jordan. I had Jordan as a student in math as a 7th grader. She was a joy to have in class and I am sure that she will be dearly missed. Jennifer Daniels Heaton former 7th grade math teacher at Monrovia
I remember playing house with Elizabeth, Jordan and Courtney when we were all little. Jordan was always in charge of the ‘sun’ when we played house. Meaning when Jordan shut the lights in the room off that meant it was night time. When the lights were on this signified day time. I remember one time in particular Jordan was the Mommy in our pretend world. Elizabeth, Courtney and I were her unruly children. Jordan couldn’t have been much over 7 years old. Jordan turned ‘the sun off,’ as she called it and as Elizabeth, Courtney and I giggled and talked. Jordan got very angry with us and yelled ‘I turned the sun off! Go to sleep!!’ We did not comply and she stormed downstairs and told Mamaw on us! We got yelled at and were told to play nice. Not sure why this memory stands out in my mind but it does. Her strong spirit and determination to what ever she puts her mind to will be missed. Maybe she’s up above controlling the sun? 🙂
Jordan…..you will be missed dearly. We have had many late Friday nights together at Riley. No matter how awful Jordan felt we would laugh and giggle while waiting to be admitted. I was one of Jordan’s nurses, but more importantly she was my friend. She is truly an angel…….XO Chrissi Spradley
I remember Jordan’s smile and positive attitude in class. She was beautiful both inside and out.
And so another link in our family chain went on to heaven, Oh! what a glorious day when the chain is completed and we are all together again.
