Joseph Meo

Joseph Meo, 50, Camby, died August 1, 2012. Mr. Meo was born October 21, 1961, in Mooresville, to the late Paul E. Meo and Beverly (Gray) Meo, who survives.

Joe worked in construction and as a heavy equipment operator for J.C. Smith Excavating for many years. He enjoyed NASCAR, video games, loved food, and enjoyed driving demolition derby cars when he was younger.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Meo; and sister, Kelley Meo.

Survivors include his daugters, Mandy (Paul) Stivers of Indianapolis, Stevie (Anthony) Cooper of Mooresville; mother, Beverly Meo of Camby; sisters, Gina Lawless of Martinsville, Rosalie Murray of Mooresville, Paula Blow of Missouri, Nikki Meo of California; 3 grandchildren, Quinton Stivers, Shelbi Stivers, and Allen Stivers.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at Abundant Love Church of God, 3909 S. Lynhurst Drive, Indianapolis, with calling held one hour prior. Arrangements are entrusted to Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service and Crematory, Mooresville. The cremation will be done by the Morgan County Crematory.

  2. As Joe and I grew up we were always playing tricks on each other. It continued on thru adulthood and we loved seeing who could ‘best’ the next one! Joe was my brother and my dear friend. We talked every week, even if in short messages. Always checking up on each other. He was always there for me no matter what. My love for him is still undying and unconditional. I will miss you forever.
