Joyce Marie Roberson Ringer

Joyce Marie Roberson Ringer, 87, Mooresville, died December 5, 2012, in Community Hospital South. Mrs. Ringer was born July 26, 1925, in Vincennes, to the late Ralph Edward and Esther (Otten) Roberson.
She graduated from Mooresville High School. She was a proud homemaker and a member of the Mooresville Friends Church and the Mooresville Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Ringer was also a member of Kappa Kappa Sigma and the Mooresville VFW Post 1111 Ladies’ Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Bracken Ringer; brothers, Ralph E. Roberson, Jr. and Wendell Wade Roberson; grandchildren, Jennifer M. Tipmore and Taylor B. Cornelius.
Survivors include her daughters, Deborah R. Cornelius of Mooresville; Sherry L. Tipmore (Rick) of North Fort Myers, Florida, and Julie A. Harris (Dave) of Mooresville; grandchildren, Chad Tipmore, Bryce Cornelius, Devin Harris, Cameron Harris, and Abby Harris.
The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Monday, December 10, 2012, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, December 9, 2012. Pastor Sue Whitesel will officiate and burial will be in White Lick Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Churches in Mission.
