Judith A. “Judy” Kemble, 84, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026, at The Springs of Mooresville.

Born on May 28, 1942, in Anderson, Indiana, Judy was the daughter of the late Lee Roy Davis and LaVeria (Harbit) Shenefiel. She was a graduate of Shortridge High School in Indianapolis.

On December 23, 1960, Judy married the love of her life, Jimmie Kemble. Together they shared more than 65 years of love, devotion, and countless cherished memories.

Judy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved spending time outdoors tending to her beautiful flower gardens and never passed up the opportunity to stop at a garage sale, always hoping to discover a unique piece of costume jewelry or hidden treasure. A gifted crafter, she enjoyed painting, coloring, and creating home décor, especially for the holidays. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she delighted in transforming her home with festive decorations that reflected her warmth and holiday spirit.

Judy lovingly sewed clothing for her children and made countless Barbie doll outfits for her daughter. She also enjoyed attending covered bridge festivals and embraced new adventures with enthusiasm, always willing to try something new.

As a devoted wife, loving mother, and dedicated homemaker, Judy poured her heart into her family. When her children were young, she was actively involved in their lives, serving as a Girl Scout leader, participating in PTO, and supporting their involvement in 4-H. Her unwavering love, creativity, and encouragement created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and lasting memories.

Judy will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, generous heart, remarkable creativity, and deep love for her family.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her son, Jimmie T. Kemble, Jr.; son-in-law, Steven Stiles; brother, Dennis Davis; and sister, Jacqueline Krupp.

She is survived by her beloved husband of more than 65 years, Jimmie Kemble; daughter, Kimberly Stiles; sister, Susan Lindeberg (Bob); and extended family members.

Graveside services will take place at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 27, 2026, at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville where she will be laid to rest next to her son, Jimmie.
