Judith Irene Young

Judith Irene “Judy” Young, 77, of Mooresville, passed on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at IU Health Methodist Hospital. She was born in Franklin on April 17, 1949, to the late Lawrence Eugene Tuley and Barbara Ann (Miller) Tuley. She married Wilson M. “Wyl” Young Jr. on May 11, 1974.

Judy graduated from Center Grove High School in 1967 and worked in medical billing. She enjoyed knitting and reading, especially the works of Jodi Picoult and Kristin Hannah.

Judy was preceded in death by both parents and brother, Tom Tuley.

Judy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Wilson; daughters, Beth Copeland and Sandy (Jeff) Brooks; brothers, Tim (wife, Norma) Tuley and Sam Tuley (Christina); and grandchildren, Megan Copeland, Jessica Copeland, Matthew Moxley, and Molly Moxley.

In keeping with her wishes, Judy’s earthly remains have been cremated and there are no public services scheduled. Cremation has been entrusted to Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville.
